    Invertig 221

Trying the 221 in stick mode without a lot of luck. Not getting much penetration. Using a 1/8 6011(DCEP) any of you guys tried this and what did you use for your setup?

Do you have the footpedal plugged into the port in the front of the machine? If so, disconnect it. If you leave it plugged in, the machine is expecting you to use the pedal to modulate the amperage during stick welding. So technically if you buy a slider amptrol, you can control the amperage right at the stinger (or in one hand) on-the-fly as you're stick welding.

Dumb a$$ mistake Oscar got me fixed up. This machine is the bomb. Doubt I'll ever use the Bobcat again. Make just take the Invertig and plug it into the Bobcat

It was nothing special. Just running some stringers to get used to the machine.

My Invertec v250-s stick welds at a lower amperage if the foot control is plugged in.

Only thing I don't like about the machine.
