I have antique snowmobiles. My pride & joy a 1972 Arctic Cat Cheetah was built with Kawasaki engine, & Walbro. A very few parts can be found NOS for them. I had to refit to Tillotson.

Here are some parts for the 'L' MH17 series couldn't find anything for the 'I'MH17???

    https://www.ereplacementparts.com/wa...54_140382.html

I've done a few LMH carbs in the last year pretty simple the main thing goes bad is the internal gaskets from alcohol and other crap in the fuel.

It seems a PO boogered the two up with a screwdriver. It appears the parts he needs are NLA. Thanks, Mike

    Re: walbro carb part

Just a note from the foggy recesses of my memory .... one of those Walbro L .... series carbs has a main jet that had fuel passages drilled AFTER the main nozzle was installed, and because the odds of the fuel passage lining up again are almost zero, they recommend not to remove it....

If you can get the full model number of your motor, OH140 - xxxxxx I can pull out my old Tecumseh service manual and see what it says.

    cheers

    John

Thanks, John B !! The carb # probably is LMH17, engine model # is 160044b. Friend sent me the engine manual and it says if it is removed to replace it with a different one. Something about getting fuel to the idle circuit.

When you say 'main nozzle' you mean like this part?

No,go to the part number 10 and you will see what I'm looking for. John,is also correct in what Tecumseh said about removing the nozzle, the manual states if removed you need to replace with a different nozzle that has been re-designed. Thanks mike for putting this message up for me.

I put a rebuild kit in the Walbro carb on my bluestar 2E with OH160 motor several years back. Pretty sure I got the kit on eBay.

Have you checked ebay? I know with chainsaws, you can often find entire carburetors for cheaper than what you would pay for a rebuild kit (like $15), and they run great.

I ordered the kit for my OHV 14 hp Tecumseh from Amazon, I think, also got a fuel pump kit. I don't know about the main jet though.
