My iPhone 7+ puts the volume button down with the camera and home buttons on the right, while looking at the screen. You can take a pic with either your left thumb on the volume button, or the camera button.

    I change the orientation though...

This $#!T is supposed to be easy...it never is...I'll have to try and flip my iphone around in landscape mode and see if that doesn't fix the problem of having to change the orientation.
I agree, all my boys have apple phones and we are continually having challenges exchanging photo"s/attachs etc. May have to make a move from android. Problem is mama is now familiar with hers and that is a painful transition to another phone

so just to be sure, would you recommend I select my camera auto rotation feature or no? I assume so or I would not capture a landscape photo. Sorry for such a basic question....

Crap, you're right...yeah, I guess with the button on the right side, the volume buttons are down...

I often have orientation problems though, but that might be InstaGram, yet another useless interface that will only allow the phone to be in portrait mode...

On InstaGram you can change the orientation by editing the pic after you select it. I don't get it, orientation change is supposed to be tablet/phone programming 101. Shouldn't be so hard to get it right and/or have major apps not support it.

EDIT: it's the browser where the button are on top...

Re: Not Sure there were anyother options

Took a long time but done. Deck stained, caps added to 4x4 and handrails. I think they look fine for us (77 plus on this end), especially when I consider bottomline was right around $500.00 We opted for painting here, I simply put on a POR 15 basecoat, then top coated with rattle can. Survived the winter ok and passed the grandkids test. Much of the material was on hand, but if I would have seen metalman handrail post first, probably would have made many changes. Just thought II would post and tie up some lose ends.

    Thanks Sam

Tried to post pics, kept reversing upside down. I even reorientated from PC. Maybe its an android thing but more than likely its operator error.

Re: Not Sure there were anyother options

Thanks Sam, no brilliant design from me, but we like the looks. Just had 1x2 and 1x1 tube left over and wanted to make use of it. Come to find out handrail fabricator in the area commonly uses same size material. I do see the benefits using solid uprights, so we drilled holes in hopes of avoiding a rusted mess. However, we are now pushing 4 score so I imagine it will see us out.

Going to alter step handrail by adding another horizontal run with vertical pickets. At least the handrails passed the wrecking crew test {three grandsons under 10}.

Have followed your posts over the years with pleasure. Back when you built the flatbed

    much obliged
