These pics are really cool.

1966 Lincoln SA200, was a barn find. Mechanically was in great condition. It was running and welding in 24 hrs after I got it home. Fuel system cleaned was all it needed. Then the cosmetic work was a time monster

It's quite heavy. I saw it on Craigslist for $150., which is about what they cost in 1948-52. I called and told the old guy that I didn't want or need another welder, but I'd hate to see someone scrap it out. He replied with $50. But I had to pay another $10 for an ancient GE fiber helmet.

But now I'm makin' MONEY!

What constitutes vintage and collectible? I have a couple I’ve collected and used only a couple of times. None have been restored to look pretty. The only one I don’t know if it works or not is the Miller. I can not justify buying a gun for it at the moment. Too busy buying other tools.

Lincoln Idealarc 250 ac/dc with tricycle cart.
Miller Millermatic 35s
ESAB Migmaster 250

A welder (rodholder) is an observer: someone who gains awareness of things through the senses, especially sight. If beauty is in the eye of the rodholder then the person who is observing gets to decide what is beautiful.

Beauty is in the eye of the rodholder.
