No I think its for a tunnel. I'm not sure. Its extremely easy, just daunting, 2550 of them.

I hate doing that kind of work. I build tables for an interior decorator, about one every other week or so. Every one exactly the same, same material just different dimensions. I'm on about 63 now.

That's when it pays to have jigs set up

I do production work in our other lines and you can never have too many ways to speed it up even when I've already done hundreds/thousands of an item I will always be thinking of ways to make it more efficient... of course sometimes it backfires and I'l try something new only to get bad results after spending a day doing it

I hate production work! Every once in a while I get stuck doing it if I sell a high dollar fence and have to forge pickets, or make intricate posts. Days at the saw and stacks upon stacks of parts.

I like listening to the news or NPR but with the noise, hearing protection I tend to miss important details. LOL

If you listen to NPR you are not missing anything important at all.

I use a set similar to this:
    https://www.amazon.com/3M-WorkTunes-.../dp/B0723CYHPZ

FM/AM Radio, or many can connect by Bluetooth to your phone/iPod/etc but mostly for music, not phone calls.

I use the ISOtunes 2.0 because they fit under my hood. Use ARCJUNKIES10 at checkout and save $10 on your purchase.

I'm not sure what they are for. A tunnel in Michigan is all I know 100%. Some sort of hanger I think. Stout little fellows 1/4 thick material.

Excellent, always great to finish a job.

I've never done any repetitive work, always one-offs.
...sometimes I think it would be nice to make the same thing...

I've bid on a few but didn't get them.

I preferred this to most of my "Gym equipment" builds. Probably because they are simple and have such a low profit margin and or take time. This is probably only my 4-5th production jobs. Additionally I'm a retired teacher I'm not doing this 40 hours a week.

I use the ISOtunes 2.0 because they fit under my hood.
Bought a set a couple months back, I don't weld anymore, haven't for 6 years (other than crap at home), and just retired Thursday after 33 years with DOT. I use them around the yard mowing or trimming or just when I'm outside and want to listen to tunes. The battery lasts forever, block out most of the noise of the trimmer, connects every time to my phone and are comfortable, I'd definitely recommend them..............Mike

    Thanks mrmikey.
I want to block noise and spatter down the old ear canal.
Congratulations I retired from teaching in 2019. I love it. Teaching was great but after 32 years I was ready.

Re: 400 Down 2150 To Go

I've still got 5-7 years of teaching to go. But after two covid years....I'm ready now.
