    Century arc welder model 110-104

I just bought a century 100 amp arc welder model 110-104. Seems kinda strange to me how it's set up. Because both wire leads are on the same clamp....I know that can't be right can it??? I just got into welding year or so ago don't know much about these older welders. Can someone help.me out with this I don't want to power it up. Afraid it's going to blow up if I do.

    Hehe. Is this your welder?

If it is you got screwed out of the gun for it.

Is that a combination electrode holder-carbon arc
torch? I have some sort of cheap welder with that
arrangement. It comes apart to make electrode
holder and work clamp or slides together for carbon
    arc torch.

    Here’s a pic I found of a 50 amp “Mini-welder” identical
to mine. Electrode holder slides onto handle of work clamp
to form carbon arc torch. Looks similar to OP s clamp from
what I can see. Pretty cheesy looking. One of these days
I’ll need to try it out.
