What is the reason you want to do this?
    a) spend LOTS of money?
    b) make life overly complicated?
    c) have equipment that requires a significant relearn EACH time it is used?
    d) produce low quality welds?
    e) spend exorbitant amounts of $$$ on tiny spools of welding wire?
    f) burn up LOTS of contact tips in the welding gun?
    g) leave yourself wondering why anyone would sell such a contraption?

I am just having fun, not trying to be rude,,
we had such a machine on our ship (USN) for welding aluminum.

MIG works best with a constant voltage power supply, and the amperage will vary automatically
Your TIG welder is a constant amperage power supply, and the voltage varies depending on how wide the arc gap is,,

IMHO,, the two types of welding are best when done with two separate machines.
That opinion is formed from MANY hours of trying to make welds with a MIG gun connected to a VERY high quality constant amperage power supply.
(I still [50 years later] have a scar on the back of my hand where a ball of molten aluminum rolled into my glove when I was trying to overhead weld an aluminum pipe to a plate to make a drain,,)

I want a MIG welder also,, and I am still saving up some $,$$$ ,

until then, where did I leave that tube of Lincoln 1/8" 7018 rod??

Thanks tapwelder I'll check it out.

I don't plan on using it to weld aluminum.
I use tig feature for that.

I just need a bigger mig for some equipment repairs.

I used a miller 250 syncrowave that had an feeder attached to it and it worked really well but that was probably 10 years ago now.
