They haven’t leaked yet so can’t truly say. Generic no name brand so results may vary.

I don’t recall the price but they were relatively inexpensive on eBay.
    I think I bought a 5 or 6 pack.

They make using your air tool SO much easier.

I researched this area and came to the conclusion that Milton V-Style offered the best performance for the money.

Milton P are my go to, they flow double the Milton V high flow (tested myself) and are very durable.

All the shop die grinders I run V for convenience.

Anything that needs real flow I use Jackhammer fittings

I use H. I got a can full at a sale and scored some couplers at a flea. They are not easy, it helps to spray a little in the coupler after connecting the tool if I can remember, just a little juice to let the balls slide a little better. They aint foe everyone but are very durable, can even fix them and use the same for all the tools. Dont own anything it isnt sufficient for and the threads come in sizes from 1/4 to 1/2

i learned that by not dropping the hose with couple doesn't damage the couple and lets them always stay together.

I still use "Sungator brand" from Amazon with 6 balls in the coupling, but the Nitto does seem better for durability and leaks. Nitto flow is much higher than standard type. Maybe time to switch out.

Dirt is also a killer. In my old shop with a gravel floor I would change them regular... in the new shop on concrete I have yet to change one in 9 yrs.

    2 types
    .
    1) water hose screw on fitting like on a garden hose i have seen used on air tools, when tight they dont hiss, sure if not fully tight they leak like a garden hose
    might leak if not tight
    .
    2) propane screw on quick disconnects, like on fork truck or newer propane grills, as long as tight they dont leak hiss, obviously if propane leaked
    it be a fire hazard

I like using the 1/4" universal female quick disconnects. Seems as though they have a better gasket system, for cheap connectors.

Re: Air Couplings That Don't BLOW???

Over the years I have used most of the brands available over here .
Cejn, My fav would be Cejn , on the expensive side but lovely to connect and disconnect . Steel males that dont wear .
Ryco , fine Brass that can wear a bit , gee it takes a long time though .
Atlas Copco works well but really big and heavier duty than I need .Steel males again .
Nitto , OK , Just , ally males . Very cheap and feels that way . But works .

Thing is they all work and I have not had any dramas with the actual couplings leaking in any system . , its more the connection to the tool or hose . Which ultimately is on the operator . Some are easier and have a nicer "feel" when coupling and disconnecting , but really how ofen are you doing that ?
If your doing it alot you should have two lines .

If I had to say the best my vote would be Cjen .

Never really notied a difference in flow , never tried same tool with different fittings back to back though , but have always had more than enough CFM on hand .

A good guess is better than a bad measurement

Really? They can't be real Nitto - just knockoffs.

I've used Nitto and some knockoffs for years and they were all steel. The One-handed operation genuine HI-CUPLA is great.

OK, thanks. Bunnings don't sell Nitto brand, just "Nitto Style". The genuine Nitto couplers, especially the one-handed hi-cupla, are much better.
