Re: Portable welding tables
Move the wheels 5 or 6 inches away from the legs, then, the wheels can even be off the ground.
As you lift the opposite end, the wheels will touch, and cause the legs to come off the ground.
With the wheels spaced away from the legs, the table will work kinda like a wheelbarrow,
stable on the original legs, until you are ready to move it, then the wheels come into play,,,,

I like this idea, definitely come in handy, especially for around the shop. Not sure how it would be for traveling though.
Remove the top and replace it with a fab block and you have a pretty capable table that can carry a load.
In most cases the handle could be removed and casters can be locked.

Re: Portable welding tables
My 55 year old portable weld table makeover is done.
I ended up adding wheels and a swing up handle
Not digging the paint ( soft iron) but it's all I had around last night.

Re: Portable welding tables
Looks a lot better than when you started... the orange makes it pop, maybe a thin band around the table top and shelf?

Re: Portable welding tables
Those are nice but my fave is that folding green one but I can do without the holes. I wanna use the same clamps I am carrying in the bucket.
