    Another Mickey Mouse Grinder Holder

I needed an easily moveable grinder stand for my welding tables and this is what I came up with…

in retrospect it actually looks a little goofy....

For a table with no holes, you could use the same design on a 20 lb magnet.

I went more than 50 years without a mag drill. Never even knew about them (and DC welders) until later in life.

Now that I finally have one and don’t “really” need one, I’m gonna drill holes.

I have use and own a mag drill since before 1970.
It is tool that sits a lot today but I can put on the work bench for drill and tapping hole.
I also use it for line boring backhoes and other earth moving equipment.

    Very handy tool when need.

Only effective if the grinder has a guard.

I have those Y shaped hooks that I use, and they will still work without the guard so these should as well. You just have to be very careful with the thin disks or they will break.

Here's a shot of the ones I pick up at Princess Auto when they're on sale for cheap. These are 10 lb magnets and they work "ok"... I'd hold out for 20 lb ones in the future though. The 10's won't hold the sawzall up if the batteries are attached. On the 4.5" grinders they work with either the guards on or off. Maybe Mickey just needs rabbit ears...

    Looks good.
I did feild work and no place for tool hangers. About the only hanger I used was for stinger or mig gun. No more than a disk harrow for base and pipe for stand all so used latter or scaffold .

I never got around to getting that $65 LED yard light with photocell.

Didn't feel like spending $30 on gas to save $15.

I rarely get into Wpg to go to the store... I rely heavily on the free shipping . Just order 20 of them...
