    POWCON 300 SM capacitor replacement

Has anyone replaced the CAPS in one of these units since ARCON closed up shop? I am going to replace mine either way but if anyone has done it let me know what you have learned along the way.

    Hi sparky,

More info please... Which caps are we talking about? The input caps on the top behind the main control board, or the output caps down in the bottom behind the cooling fan? Do you think the caps are bad, or are you replacing them just because they're old electrolytics? Are you looking for advice on the replacement procedure, or just whether replacing them made any difference?
