Years ago I ran a Datsun through the Bear Tooth pass coming out of the Northwest corner of Yellowstone park. There were hairpins that had my car turned as tight as it would go and they ran concrete down the sides of the mountain to keep the road from slipping. On my way down I met a truck pulling a camper with a boat behind it. He wasn't even in the tight turns yet and he had traffic blocked moving back and forth to get around a corner. I often wondered if he was still up there...

Where I live, we are near Interstate I81,, RV's pulling a pickup with a 27 foot motorboat behind on a trailer is a VERY common sight.
I use to work with a guy that did doubles like that for camping etc. I would think a regular ball would not be legally able to pull all that weight but I never heard of DOT stopping them.

You could be right, and if the driver is like alot of drivers today it could have even passed him and he wouldn't know because he was on the phone or texting.
