    Big Beam Light

    I finally finished my big wooden beam light that will go over the dining table. It is 11" wide x 6" thick x 6' 6" long.

    Looks great ! How are you going to mount that ? Looks a little heavy for the standard ceiling boxes. I like the choice of bulbs.

    I'm hanging it from ceiling fan brackets and have the ball on top of my tubes. Even with taking out the wood in the trough for the wiring and box and drilling the 5" holes for the reflectors, it still weighs 64#.
