    I have been busy

I subcontract in my 2 car garage (with my 62 Buick minus its front suspension watching me).
The work is boring but I kind of like it.
I have sub for these guys for several years and the pay sure beats custom gym equipment. No point to the post other than "act like a professional and work may find you". I have bough steel from them for 20 years and its pName: 1.jpg

    Enjoying is the key!!!
There shop rate is $100/hr. some of these little job that would be cost prohibitive so I can fill in. Half my fun is getting every thing set so I can just fly and pump out parts. Trying to be as efficient as possible.

Its a big shop by my standards (but I was a teacher) the shop does quality work and I'm happy to be apart of it.

I got to get motivated to work on it. It has good bones California car no rust but needs a ton of work. I knew I was over my head when I got it but I always want to do this. I'm a little intimated. I think the production work will slow down and I will attack it then.

    Unfortunate.

That’s not a result of weight training is it?

Not sure but probably some of it. I used to do a lot of hand stand push ups. But the Olympic lifts and heavy presses may aggravate it. Hell it might go back to High school football.
The neck gets tired with the hood on.

A good nights sleep is rare. end of rant. LOL

So are you trying to say anyone over 50 is a dinosaur?

I am 55 and I would wager a drink that most of us on here are over 50.

Well spoiler alert…. the main takeaway is what we already know. “We’re no longer 25 years old”. LOL

The author goes into depth the hows and whys and more importantly how to prevent injuries that we used to bounce back quickly from when we were younger.

While his advice applies to everyone I would assume it is more so to those that had a lifetime of disciplined training such as Reebz.

Every thing is cut and drilled I just glue it together. The gussets are clean and laser cut. The metal is clean and nice, very little oil residue

Agree. I only weld about 5 hours a day, but that is 5 hours of straight welding. I set everything up for speed and start a stop watch. I need the coin had some unexpected bills. This money was to purchase go fast parts on my old Buick.
