I got nothing! Why do you people need machines? You can dig faster with a hand shovel than I could with a 20 ton excavator!

I'd get bored digging in your world.

Stones were even tougher. Lucky for me, I didn't hit any big ones...

That sure looks like a lot of digging for an internet cable. Couldn’t you use a mesh system or other relay?

Now that you've sorted your birdsnesting issues, can you please retract your millermatic hating statement. It's making me sad.

I could but with all the metal and heavy iron moving through the yard, it wouldn't be as dependable. If I'm going this far, I want to be done with crappy internet.

It wasn't bad really.... I put the pvc down about 18 to 20" and got it done in under 4 hrs. You can dig it with a shovel... I'm not...

So big they tipped your excavator over.

Actually, I'm not certain I have birdnest problem fixed with respect to other wires. I did come up with some lube pads from Maine Oxy. I'll let you know. I have several generator platforms to build.

Well.... another Covid supply project heads for plan B. I got the PVC buried because the forecast is for snow by Tuesday but now my IT guy says the cable I need is 3 to 6 weeks out. We're in the process of setting up a beam signal to get us off the current dish before the end of the month.... well that and we'll be able to beam people up onto our starship... I was going to do that anyway for the 2nd house in the yard I use for my office.

I haven't re-run the speed test yet, I'm still not up to full speed until I get the cable and upgrade the routers. I'm really liking it though...
