TD CUTMASTER 38 - component identification

Hi all,

Can any one identify the diode below D51 on a cutmaster 38? I was hoping someone should know this info or have a machine available to check it out.



I picked a cutmaster 38 a little while ago and couldn’t get the pilot arc to start so it’s not cutting at the moment, I swapped out the torch consumables but had no luck.

Upon opening the machine I can see that it has had an issue on the board and blown one of the IGBTs and a diode so I’m planning to replace and give it another try.




For any one with a similar issue the IGBT is an APT 60GT60BR

I have a TD cutmaster 38 with a different problem, will create a pilot with dc led on, then within a second both pilot and LED DC off, then both on again. Pulsing about twice a second. If I try the main arc it is a little better.

I have board out and the removed the diode, the diode has the marking AP-47.
