220v plasma non contact

Any of you guys have a cheap chinese plasma gutter that will cut through rusted sheet metal (non contact) that is 220v.

any plasma should cut rusty or painted metal just fine. But the spot for the ground clamp has to be clean and the place where you start the cut might have to be clean.
It will depend on if the plasma has a real pilot arc or just an HF arc. I have an old L-tec plasma that only has an HF pilot arc. can only start the cut on a clean spot.
I have cut rusty and painted metal. Cheap or expensive the ground has to be on a clean spot. or use a vise grip to bite through the rust and clip to it.

The cheap Chinese models wont blast through to start on rust, but will cut through rust. Rust conducts electricity, but getting contact can be the issue.
