Overhead welding is good skill to lean.
I aways purchased the best price on welding wire and rod.

I ended up using Forney 7018, the issue was ultimately the Lincoln 7018AC sucked.
The Excalibur was 3x the price so I went with the Forney.
My skill is surely still lacking for out of position stuff. But i think for my needs it’s more than acceptable now and have confidence when i flip the hood down.
