    Maybe,,, in a test booth might be particularly fussy about sections they are going to pull samples from. Gonna be watchine restart locations and can even organize grain structure to some extent by overlap and pass thickness and improve some clarity , arc length and angle. Lot going on say in a small bore pipe test.
    It helps a lot if a guy gets to run the same joint regular. Repair often different, 14 hrs is gruelling and different than a nuke joint can take all week.
