The stem cell transplant just sucks all of your energy. Getting out of a chair takes a lot of work. Really like the Mag drills from Mag Tool with the rotating pads to fit pipe. They need to make special bits for fitting pipe nozzles with a taper for full penetration. That would be a game changer for fitting smaller nozzles on vessels. Way simpler than using a torch in a circle cutter.
Thanks Dave for the proper perspective. Wishing you continuing improvement so you can finish that project.

Last summer I read a news clip about adjustable eye glasses. No need for a prescription just cover one eye adjust then do the same for the other eye.
Build them into a welding helmet and send me one.
I think that this would be great dial in for doing work at a bench and the ability to adjust for welding at arms length under a piece of equipment.

The TIG sisters want a little MIG brother, the Fronius TransSteel 2200.

Chances are I'll have to gift it to myself.

Just got myself a HTP PP220, from their "Halloween Sale", to Mig Aluminum (I've always been a Tig guy with Alum, but thinking that those Mig Alum welds are gettin' to look pretty good to me ) While "playin' around" with it, and seeing what a drastic effect that Heat has on things as you go from a Cold joint to what it wants as it heats-up (yea, I know I could preheat) that SLIDER thing is going on my list!

All I want for Christmas is to feel better. Tested positive for covid on Monday. This is day 9 of isolation, and I still feel crappy.

    Meets all of MKs requirements:

The item has to be meaningful, (NO "welding neckties!"). Check!
The item has to fit that narrow focus of meaningful price point (NO asking for a new Miller Trailblazer) Check!
The item has to be available (NO replacement tips for a 1918 obsolete Victor torch, that have not been available since 1975). Check!
The item must be wrappable (NO 26 foot extension ladders). Check!

    ETCETRA!!

Bonus points if the item is available on Amazon,, Check!
Double bonus points if the item is unusually low cost compared to the value! Double Check $7.99!!

Got 2 of them my daughter!

I didn’t ask for this…cuz they cost more than I want anyone spending on me, but I may use some gift card money to get a start on buying myself a set of those fireball squares - really like that fabricator package.

My oldest daughter is bringing her family out from North Dakota for a visit, We haven't seen them for 4 years now. I'll be taking some time off this week. If it's not too cold the grandkids want to go to the range and shoot. (there goes my ammo )
