He will be able to hook the front grab handle from the kayak onto this and tow the kayak (it has wheel you attach to pull it around once out of the water) up the ramp to the flat where he can then load it easier.

Well got the kayak bed extender Hobie hauler completed and it works really well.

Pull the pin and it rotates side to side while towing the kayak by the handle. Then When you go to put the kayak in the bed you just remove one side arm and pivot it off to the side so you have room to slide the yak into the bed.
Once it’s in the bed pivot it back and reinstall the side arm and release the lock pin and it locks in place for hauling.
