    Nice Bandsaw Solution

I recently spun another part in the saw, and I've been determined to set the vise up to handle small parts. I know there's a lot of ideas out there,, but I really like this one, and intend to do the same.

Wrapping a wrap or 2 of duct tape does wonders on short pieces. I use scraps or 1-2-3 blocks and shims if needed to block the opposite side of the vise.

I use another piece of the same or similar size stock at the far end of the vise.

I keep a piece if 6" pipe (split in half) next to my saw. Simple.

Gotta love the BD1 bandaw bridge clamp, "invented" by our very own BD1 and saving metal wranglers untold amounts of frustration since 1852.... or thereabouts!
