    Threaded Swivel Levelling Mounts

Anyone have a source for threaded swivel levelling mounts like this..

preferably available in (or ships to) Canada?

Minimum 1/2” threaded stem. Suitable for a welding table.

Have you tried ordering from MMC ?

Apparently they do ship to Canada now if you have a business account.

    I have had my local

    https://www.sbsimpson.com/

    order and resell me items.

It wasn't cheap though, it doubled the price of a hundred dollar item.

    Several years ago.

Ask around, see who has a MMC account, maybe someone in the usa will act as a go between here.

Thanks. I can always have them ship to my freight forwarders in Blaine Wa but it's still an added cost I have to pay to get it into Canada.

Another problem is even if they do ship into Canada depending on who they use (Purolator is the worst ) they withhold my shipment until I pay taxes and their outrageous brokerage fees.

I find ups the worst the shipping quote only seems to get it to the Canadian warehouse then they add brokerage fees and shipping to my home.
If possible I use the postal service.

MMC does ship to Canada. I’m in Ontario too, and nearly everything comes next day. They sell in USD but I’m fairly sure there is a shipping warehouse somewhere in the GTA. I’d expect around $15 shipping charge plus exchange rate for something like you’re looking at.

These do come with swivel because I have one but with your tools Lis2323 you could make your own. Good project for someone wanting to be a machinist
Use hex stock for base to adjust with wrench.

If you don't absolutely have to have acme thread you could cut the cost in half!

I have jack but only used them for machine work.
For welding I use extention nuts and bolts.
If lose one it cheap to replace goto keg and grab some more.

    Hello,

Have you tried Carrlane manufacturing, they have stud and studless swivel feet.

Another word/search to try for Threaded Swivel Levelling Mount might be : “adjustable glide”

That is a closer match that most in the furniture industry uses. Another example would be searching “Caster” for a chair wheel.

This information could be irrelevant to you (as this post is older) but it may help for those searching for such a thing.

Unless you absolutely NEED the swivel aspect, They are very easy to make.

Of course I don’t “NEED” swivel.

    I’ve made lots too.

Considering the price of the things, I'd opt to simply make them. You have the tools and the skills. Even if the foot isn't connected to the threaded portion, it'll work just the same. The only difference is that it would mean you have to move the pads as a separate thing whenever you move the bench.

Thank you for your vote of confidence concerning my skill set lol

As it turns out I ended up keeping the 5 inch steel casters under the new welding table.
