    Fist post

I have been watching for a while and appreciate the wealth of knowledge and support the forum provides.

I am a retired from many trades including electrician, construction, development and even a restaurant owner.
I finally built my dream shop two years ago and it is still work in progress but very usable. I had a 48x80 Morton building put up on a nice 2+ acre parcel I got very reasonable up here in New Hampshire. I have a heated floor for year round working so it is now my full time job.

I have always been better at working with steel than wood and enjoy the challenges. I recently built a nice dump truck with a knuckle boom crane. It started as a low mile vacuum sweeper with a Cummins/Allison.

As for the welding end I started years ago with a basic Lincoln stick and still use it. I have a nice Lincoln mig and a few smaller Miller migs that I have procured over the years.
Last year I purchased an older Miller syncrowave 300 with water cooler and pulse controls. My plan is to get much better at Tig welding.

I am struggling a bit with the new syncrowave settings. I do fairly well with steel but aluminum is still a learning curve. I will have many questions I'm sure down the road.

I appreciate everyone's support and input.

    Thank you.
I didn't want to shorten the frame and i had an extra 3' of space. I figured why not fill it with something useful. It came out great.

So my eyesight didn't catch the spelling error (Fist) in the title but you get the jist of it. I am going to try to attach a few pictures. It is a little crowded inside trying to keep the primary winter equipment inside and warm.
The shop floor area has been reduced to 48x60 as I framed off 20' across the end for a future living quarters. The second floor is storage for now.

    Thank you.
My plan is to put up a product called Trusscore. It is a vinyl 18' long panels about 5/8" thick with a honeycomb between. It is waterproof and has an insulation factor as well as a good fire rating. I will then put metal over it in the welding area.
