Love my 9 year old POWERARC 200 but seeing a need for MIG
I bought a POWERARC 200 9 years ago for use on my hobby farm. Comparing it to the POWERARC 200STi it seems the price has remained constant since then! It is incredibly lightweight and I drag it all over the place. I have welded bush hogs, plow supports, rebar, trailer parts, axle mounts, cultipackers, etc. Has always done everything I needed it to and I have gone through over 50lb of 7018 with zero problems even though I store the welder in my shop which is not climate controlled. Thank you for producing such a reliable, easy-to-use welder!
However, to weld thinner pieces of sheet metal I am now considering a MIG device even though 90% of my welding will still be 7018 stick. Will probably pass the stick welder on to someone else so I need a dual SMAW/GMAW. Will the POWER I-MIG 200 do all the stick welding that my previous POWERARC 200 did?

Or, it may be better to keep this stick welder as I really like it and am familiar with it and add your CYCLONE 140E.

Just go with it! That's what I did -- own both -- and it was the best decision I ever made, because of the options. I love my Power I-MIG 200 (have had it for ~6 years now), particularly for stick welding 8-gauge to 14-gauge metal, spool gun aluminum welding, and due to its dual-voltage feature with the capabilities to mig thin mild carbon steel like down to 18 or 20 gauge using a 120 volt 15 amp outlet! Lots of options with the I-MIG 200 machine, including an excellent duty cycle. I would get that (I also have the dedicated PowerArc 200amp stick welder for thicker steel). I previously had the 140, which I sold to a friend once I got the I-MIG 200. My .02
