Next time you drink a cup.....conventional coffee is among the most heavily chemically treated foods in the world.

I would hate to run low on that stuff

Never acquired the taste for coffee and the wife does not drink it either. I like my sweet tea have at least 1 glass a day. No soda either, just tea and lots of water.

Iced tea in the morning............don't care if it's 100* outside, or 10*. Gotta be iced tea, sausage, eggs, and browns if K'kins makes them.

    Re: Coffee maker

I am addicted to coffee... I'm down to 2 cups a day as i felt crap with any more, but i couldn't imagine life without them.

Best coffee machine in the world, to me anyway, is a plain drip filter machine. Strong. Black or with milk, no sugar. I have one from the filter machine at home and drink it on the way to work. I have another around 10 am from a french press I keep at work.

You can keep those stupid latte frappachino machiatto nonsense drinks

Also can't stand instant coffee. I have been asked "tea or coffee?" - "is it real coffee? No? Ok I'll take tea please" Slightly awkward in social situations, but I don't care

I am the same. Just a GOOD cup of coffee please.

This machine is prob at least ten years old. Grinds the beans and brews ONE cup on demand PERFECT every time. I don't need a pot of "ok" coffee sitting around that needs cleaning.

Two or three GOOD cups a day if and when I want it.

    Re: Coffee maker

When I was in the USAF, I was stationed at a Division Headquarters. Our division commander was a Brigadier General, great guy, everyone really liked and respected him. He normally came cruising into to the Command Center ca. 7:30-8:00 am with his hair on fire...a real go-getter. Loved his first cup of joe. The General, for some reason, came bopping into the Command Center early, a bit before 7:00 am. Went into the break room, poured himself a cup of coffee, took a big swig and blew it out all over the place! Really shook up everyone there. "What the h*ll is wrong with this coffee??" he yelled.

Seems as a new guy in the Command Center didn't know the General's routine and decided to clean out the big 20 cup coffee maker before the staff arrived, with Dip-It, which was a strong coffee pot cleaner. D*amn miracle it didn't chemically burn the Gen's mouth and throat! That newbie just knew he was next in line for a firing squad! They told the General what had happened and the great guy he was, just laughed it off and said, "next time hang a sign on the pot!.....and make me a fresh cup of coffee please"

Do they still have the coffee bags? You can put them in the microwave and boil the heck out of them.
