Seems the only way I can use one plug is to use a transformer off the 240 since it’s only a 3 leg.

Issue is most step down to 24v. It’s $80 for the 240 - 110 units.

Might be easier just to run this as a 110 system with a separate plug.

Got the valve and the foot pedal.

I still need to figure out where I am going to mount this and the hydraulic pump itself.

I may put the pump on the wall or something for now until I figure out what I really want to do with machine mounting. I dont really like this pump but for functionality right now it will have to do. Hoses are cheap enough to just get shorter ones down the line.

What a production getting the valve was, they misread 120v as 12v and send the wrong one. And then sent the wrong parts, until they just said we're sorry heres a whole new valve.

I think I can operate the 120v with a 14/4 stranded wire to the foot pedal. I would eventually like the whole system to run on one 220v plug but at the the moment that means a transformer off the 240 or using the ground of the 240 as a neutral which will work but isn't exactly kosher.

Ultimately I would like to have all the electronics and hydraulics in its own little housing either toward the floor in the back or mounted to the rear of the header but again for now I just need to get her operational and that might mean zip ties and wall mounting.

I have not worked out a backstop yet either which should be interested based on the moving bed.
