    235ic problem

Hey guys Iím a supper noob. I am completely self taught. 2 years ago I bought a 235. Itís been absolutely flawless until today. It suddenly acts like the ground is not connected. Iím MIG welding. Even if I go straight to the ground cable it just feeds wire but doesnít start. I checked my contacts and tried again. The wire stuck to the ground clamp and I heard a little sizzle/pop inside the machine. Anyone have any idea whatís going on? Iím guessing something failed internally.

Remove the ground connection inside the machine, clean and tighten. Remove the ground clamp to cable connection and then tighten. Then try again to weld.
