ReplyRemove the ground connection inside the machine, clean and tighten. Remove the ground clamp to cable connection and then tighten. Then try again to weld.

Hey guys I’m a supper noob. I am completely self taught. 2 years ago I bought a 235. It’s been absolutely flawless until today. It suddenly acts like the ground is not connected. I’m MIG welding. Even if I go straight to the ground cable it just feeds wire but doesn’t start. I checked my contacts and tried again. The wire stuck to the ground clamp and I heard a little sizzle/pop inside the machine. Anyone have any idea what’s going on? I’m guessing something failed internally.

If so have you tried to do a factory reset in the settings menu?
