More details, particularly pictures, would help. Is this a cutting torch, and is the nut what you need? Also, are you sure the nut 5/8-24 (BTW, the title says 5/6-24)?
I have an 18-3 torch handle that takes a #73 cutting head, but I believe its tip nut thread is much larger. The cutting attachment looks like this:
I would call a good welding supply shop and talk to them, if I had the correct brand and size. Or try calling Harris.

meant 5/8 24 TPI

Have the cutting attachment in hand or have the Sears part number for the attachment when you call.
its a old 1970s craftsman torch,
there was a guy who posted a question bout same torch 2 yrs ago or so, as you see fine thread, ATT american torch tip and few others dont have problems getting OEM craftsman or Harris style tips for it,
thats the style i need, but i will try calling harris and emailed

as well
not gonna believe this , these guys were near worthless, i went down in person, i live in SC close to GA were they are, as it wasnt out of the way, when i had some buisness in GA, they never even heard or seen a torch like this even tho it was around for many years, i been welding for 30 yrs, in my 40s now, i knew more than they did.
If you are using Harris 6290 tips, the Harris tip nut part # is 9002560.
Which guys? Employees of a local shop, or perhaps the Harris company? You need to realize that we can't read your mind and most of us, even if we dealt with companies like Sears and Harris long ago, don't keep track of where they are. Seems to me the Craftsman brand name was sold so whoever still has it knows nothing of the old days.
the shop itself actually, i am in my 40s and still have alot of knowledge of older torches,
actually was the craftsman style, torch cutting tip had 4 holes for oxy and 1 center hole for acetylene,
I buy all my genuine Harris tips from these guys https://www.harrisweldingsupplies.com/

Dockson also sold torches to Sears back in the day. They had a 4 hole with center hole as well. I think Sears eventually settled on Harris. The torch in the pic is not a Harris. Likely obsolete. Check your Goss catalog.

lol i meant the other way around
thanks i was figuring it might be airco as well, or concoa now,, this is the manual that came with the torch setup
Earlier I found (general Internet search) another thread that said the 624. prefix of the Craftsman number indicated Harris was the supplier. If I wanted an OEM part rather than making one myself, (as I said above) I'd call a good welding supplier or the Harris company itself, which still seems to be the same outfit:

I had a friend who owned a family-run shop in town, but he died a good while ago and his family finally sold out to a chain; it no longer has the "barbershop/hardware store hangout" qualities, with the old-fashioned personal service it did then. Since then I have occasionally dealt with Barnes welding supply in Fresno, CA and got decent service there:

Might be an AIRCO / Concoa torch:

Maybe the torch has mismatched parts?

most likely it uses airco tips, or concoa now, wasnt used since 1994 my dad in that yr, trued a local LWS which were useless, torch was 20 yrs old then, said they couldnt get tips for it,i know now not harris tips but airco. torch never had mis matched parts.
