    Multiprocess vs Multi Machine

Hey Guys, first time poster. Looking to outfit my hobby off-road garage with some welding equipment. I am an experienced industrial welder but don’t need that kind of equipment for my shop. I’ll mostly be welding 1/8-1/4 with the odd 3/8-1/2 which I don’t have a problem doing multi pass. I want to be able to do mig, and AC/DC tig. What would you guys suggest, multiprocess or two machines. I’ve been looking at the Power MTS 225 for the multiprocess or a combo of the Powertig 200dv with either the I mig 200 or the power cyclone 200E.

For what you describe, you will want to probably go with the lightning mts 275. It's a stable, well performing machine. The 225 is too, but for the heavy stuff, it is a bit light imho. Additionally, it can only hold an 8" (10-12lb) spool of wire. (FWIW, it's just the cyclone, not the power cyclone lol.)

Thanks Lug! I'm from Canada and the website shows power cyclone lol.
So how would the mig performance compare between the I mig 200, the cyclone 200E and something like the Storm 215C. Had a thought after that I could do the separate TIG and do the MIG/Plasma combo.
I also would be bringing this welder to races to run off a generator so i think i am leaning to two machines now. A tig likely wouldn't be too useful especially since it means bringing another tank.

Performance as far as quality of the weld? They would be similar, though different in features and duty cycle. The Storm gives a lot of options and adjustability.
