Speedglass ADF change

I have an old speedglass 9002X. On Ama*zon I see a new ADF for the 9002NC, Anybody know if that will fit my hood?

generally the adf is 95% the price of the new helmet. im not sure if the 9002nc adf fits in the older helmet but it wouldnt cost much more to just buy the new 9002nc complete helmet

Yes, it's always useful to have a spare entire unit (unless the old lens is bad). I wonder about the availability and price of the entire unit (hood + lens) there [Malaysia].

A like-new helmet and lens is currently listed on Ebay [Here]; cost plus shipping would run about $330, although I have no knowledge of import duties, taxes etc.

Yeah it is identical size and shape and will drop right in. The new NC seems much nicer to look through to me. Lighter shade perhaps? Not sure.

I ended up buying the entire hood, was just 73 bucks more, as the ADF is no longer on sale. 309 for whole hood, 236 for ADF.
