Help with Thermal Arc (Tweco ?) 17V TIG Torch
Just purchased a "Thermal Arc W4013802 17V TIG torch for Fabricator 141i and 181i Welders" for use on our new 180i. Torch says TWECO on it as the brand. The ad said it replaced the Thermal Arc/ESAB. The torch works fine and I'm pleased with it. I'd like to buy some clear Pyrex nozzles and I have no idea what brand is compatible with this torch. The nozzles that came with the unit screw into the torch and the pictures of the Pyrex nozzles I see don't appear to have any threads to mount the nozzle in the torch. I've emailed the seller but no response yet. Any help or advice appreciated. Thanks.

Re: Help with Thermal Arc (Tweco ?) 17V TIG Torch
All brands of 17 series take the same consumables part numbers. The pyrex cups are held on with an o-ring. If you buy pyrex parts for a 17 series torch they will fit.
Thermal Arc 320SP ( Lorch )
Cobra Pythons
Thermal Arc 300 AC/DC ( Sanrex )
ESAB 301i AC/DC ( Lorch )
Thermal Arc 161STL ( WTL )
Thermal Arc 190S ( Sanrex )
Cut Master 82, 42. Cut45 ( WTL )
Victor Gas Apps.
Boxes and boxes of welding crap.

Also at some point you may want to get a slimmer version of that 17 torch. These are some options to consider if you find that torch handle to be a little large
