You'd expect this to be square coming from chermany. Now I gotta offset the prep to make it square. The 5" valves are smaller in dimensions than the originals so I have to weld in 35mm pups so they can replace like for like.

    Thanks!
I used my Dynasty 200DX as per usual.

I have a Unimig Razor 200 dc power source as back up but I've never used it. I bought it in a moment of weakness, it's light and easy to get up high roofs, but I'm too one eyed blue.

Your Dynasty 200DX looks like a great great welder. I have had a lot of Miller's in my life and going brand no break downs.

    Re: Next Job

People complain about the price of Miller. I have buddies who spend 2-3K on their power sources that fail after 3-4years, repairs, replacement, aggrevation, rinse and repeat.
I've had mine for 10 years now and no probs. Been with me on jobs from one end of the country to the other. That makes mine cheap, right? And it pulses and does ac. I think it's love.

I have a Miller DX 200, thing is bad A$$. Many times I'll have it maxed out TIG welding thick Aluminum, to the point I cant hold the torch. It just keeps on running, bought back in 2004 when they were cheap. LOL

    Re: Next Job

The production and weather gods finally lined up and I was able to get in and get the job done including the 3" valve at the far end of the receiver.

Definitely something seriously wrong. For a start he's got a face like a dropped pie. And probably drinks too much
