If that SN is 705105 (or close) that would make the machine a late '72.

i got a code 7307 also. it was froze up when i got it, then i robbed a couple parts off it. it really came in handy, when i needed the commentator out of it. cuz, afterward i bought a code #6340 that didnt weld, but eng in fairly descent shape. finally w/ some phone help from lincoln, we figured it was the commentator bad. the commentator outa the 7307 was slightly larger dia, and 1 or 2 higher bar count if i remeber right. it barely cleared in the 6340, but it works fine. at the time, a new commentator for the 6340 was 800 bucks. i got the 6340 orig commentor stored away. i dont know if one of them many wires in it broke, or what gave way, or what it takes to fix. working on the elect end of things is always been hard for me to grasp/understand
