Sweet! I'll be honest... you don't need a horn on your anvil for the majority of anvil work... hell, purpose built bladesmithing anvils don't even come with horns. Looks like your anvil is a lot nicer than a LOT of the bladesmithing anvils I've seen...

Not my favorite shade, but I did have a bunch of midnight blue metallic for a 79 LTD that ended up on a number of things from my son's guitar to the air brush work on my welding table.

Yea... long way from 600 lbs but it sure is handy. I'll have it beside me when I'm welding to beat on something while it's hot, or even just to hang my stinger on. There's a slab of wood on the base to keep from cracking my concrete floor so as long as it isn't touching the welding table it's insulated. I think it weighed somewhere around 90 lbs with the square top on it.

I have put decals on LOTS of projects,, makes them a little more "professional" looking,,
I purchased some JD decals, then put them on a no-name RFM that I had painted Greene.
I went back to eBay to get more, (they were like $2 each delivered) and eBay had closed the sellers account,,
I guess JD did not like people selling JD decals that they had made on their "CRICKET" cutter.
I have the Cricket cutter, but, I have not been able to get enough of my 9 year old granddaughters time to program the Cricket for me.
She is also a guru with a 3D printer,, maybe I should ask for a JD hood ornament that is 3D printed??

It can split wood, but, that is not its main function.
Mainly, it is a hydraulic press. Because it is mainly a press, I put a single stage pump on it.
So, it is more of a "tool" than a splitter,,,,,,,,,,

Totally agree about the “professionalism”
I purchased the plotter,vinyl cutter and associated gear from a friend when he retired from his sign business. By that time the equipment was totally outdated but still functional.
We set up a small room dedicated for making signage for point of sales and vehicles. Saved a TON of money.
Deere has actually been known to track down projects like that and threaten them with copyright infringements. My brother used to work for Deere and refuses to let me paint anything of his in Deere colors that wasn't made by them.

Built this 32 ton rolling head press more than 25 years ago.
Finished the finger brake for it last year.
I built this from plans in an old machinest magazine. I use it primarily for tapping I don't want to do in the mill, but made an attachment for stamping too.
Finally my version of the third hand. I made it out of copper pipe, with a moveable steel weight. I often use it as my ground on awkward to clamp parts too.
Torch Height Control = THC, This is a method to keep the plasma torch at a constant height while it is cutting. It compensates for uneven surfaces of the metal, warps and bends. It does this by measuring the arc voltage of the plasma, the program sets a standard voltage and it follows that to keep the torch at a set height.
