    Another Sears cable upgrade

[QUOTE=whtbaron;8867091]Where are you seeing panel plugs? That was the one thing I was looking for and didn't see... If I did switch to Dinse, I could use the Dinse 50 panel plugs suggested in Eric H-L's thread. They use a 1/2" terminal and would still fit my 1/0 cables.[/

Oops. Just noted 5/16l terminal size so these are Dinse 35

    Another Sears cable upgrade

I upgraded the Dinse 35 to 50 on my Thermal Arc 210 years ago so I could interchange with my Millers. ( one 350xmt had Tweco panel plugs the other XMT , Dinse50.).

Also had a handful of Tweco-Dinse adapters.

If still had turret lathe I could make about 50 per hour. Now still had screw machine about 200 hour.

I still have a engine lathe about 15 an hour.

One click shopping... that worked... 4 pieces for under $30 is very reasonable. That does the Sears up better than new... now I'll need 5 of the Powerfist connectors at $17 and return the one Tweco I didn't open yet.

Same price at Riverweld and if something goes south, the PA ones are easier to return...

Dinse 25... way too small... explains why they are in the clearance center and so cheap... also why I didn't see them in the welding supplies. Looks like Dinse 50 is my final answer. I'll have the parts stocked up but it will probably end up being a next winter project since everything is working fine the way it is....

you might wanna buy a dinse 35 panel
plug and a male end in case you ever want to make your ground lead from your plasma cutter removable (if not already )

i ditched the wimpy leads on my wire feeders and miller 625 extreme and replaced with 6 gauge. way nicer to coil

Or just add the Dinse 50 coupler somewhere inline and I could swap out the 25 ft off the Dialarc onto it. Guess that makes 6 couplers... or maybe 7....
