    Home depot Husky branded welders

    Haven't come across these before.

    Prices look pretty decent

They have a whole line: multiprocess, mig, flux cored, tig, stick, plasma, 120, 240

Looks like a 3 year warranty, home depot is usually GREAT about anything husky branded.
Warranty/return is the name of the game on cheap tools, ESPECIALLY anything electric.

It looks like a Harbor Freight welders.
The ones I look at was a cheap inverter types.
For hobby it would ok 👍
I would not buy a welder that was only 120v

Pretty much agree with not buying 120 welders, though my welder will easily weld 3/16ths in all positions with minimal prep on a good 20 amp circuit.

3/16ths is more than enough for most hobbyist welders. Also if you add in joint prep, preheat, and multipass you're in business for just about anything most small welder owners would ever tackle.

The first Husky welder is 240 and 120 volt. One of the stick welders is 240/120 also. Lots of welders on Home Depot site. Some really cheap
but don't know about the quality. Probably Chinese.

Its Chinese stuff with a different label for sure, some if it looks like Eastwoods welders. Still, it is a way better warranty situation than a lot of other welder brands. 3 year warranty, and can be returned to any Home Depot store. No need to purchase an extended warranty or protection plan, that's the basic warranty. In my mind that makes these safer than buying Harbor Freight for sure, as well as anything green or yellow.

who knows how they weld though...could be they all have a crappy arc or are wildly over rated on the amps, etc.
