Copping a sa250

So I picked up an sa250 this weekend with the Perkins runs like a dream just doesn’t fit against the cab and I want to chop it
It doesn’t have the sa200 style cap it has the half cap that’s open on the bottom
Is it still possible to chop?

I agree with Freebirdwelds and I'd say the biggest challenge will likely be the fuel tank. May have to fab a shorter custom unit
