This is not a scam. AWS is our client and this is a legit survey they've asked us to share.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
Your response made me laugh. It's understandable you are skeptical. I'm not sure I can convince you otherwise but I'll say, the survey is intended to help better understand what early career welders need and want - so we (Pace Co) can create a better American Welding Society (AWS) website and experience. No pressure to take it.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
Yes, that is our company website. You can email me at jason.kallas @ paceco .com and I'll email you back if you like.

"If it smells like Provolone,...leave it alone".
Screw surveys. They show up on Youtube, "get free tools, fill out online survey" (junk) from whoever.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
Speaking of strippers I need a new pair.
Something that will handle very small wire like telephone or cat 5 wire
I put a new microphone cord on my CB radio last week and I must've cut one of the wires trying to strip them with a razor blade like an idiot.
Any suggestions on a small gauge wire stripper?
Haven't done any research yet

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
I have a screwdriver that has a stripper in the handle, I got it at RADIO SHACK about 25 years ago in a computer repair tool kit, it's my go-to for small wire, I also have a small pliers type that's adjustable that works ok, after you get it set right.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
Marry you or I do not use the word stripper around your wife.
It is a insulation removal tool 🔧 😀.
I use a knife for removing insulation.

You ARE NOT removing insulation (or stripping wire) from 22-24ga wire with a knife.
You are an IDIOT.
once again.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
We are welding here so it be 000 wire size.
22 and 24 gauge I use soldering so I do not nick the wire.
If nick the it may brake at the nick.

got a kit a few years todo cat5-6 connectors. I think it’s Fluke that’s what’s on the testers. The cutters in it work great for that stuff.

Re: Calling all Welding Students & Early Career Welders
The old Japanese radios used a very fine wires and a soldering work great for striping the wires.

Ended up buying a set of Klein #11057 wire strippers
5 star review and it's a quality brand so I'm sure they will do what I need.
