Perhaps if you cleaned your father's garage there would be less of a chance of contamination.
What a pigpen.
Tank looks good so far.
Even though your post is a bit confusing.
Title says "fuel" tank and then you say 2 gallons of water.

Re: Fuel tank build. 2 gallons
What’s the best way that you have found to get to the inside corners? Do you start at the corner and work out? I always seem to dip my rod into the tungsten when close to the corners and have to resort to the spool gun which then looks like crap. No constructive criticism from me, looks good moto

Start on either side. Had to go left handed a couple times.
Sounds good John… you’re ok man

Re: Fuel tank build. 2 gallons
Gasoline will leak where water won't.
Pressure testing with just a couple PSI and checking seams with soapy water would be much better IMO.

Seems a lot easier to just pour in 2 gallons of water and see if it fits.

Re: Fuel tank build. 2 gallons
You could have made it much easier by just welding the outside. With inside corner to inside corner fit you could get the proper size of fillet weld on the outside for full strength. No need to weld the inside. Thousands of tanks are never welded on the inside. A lot of them you'd never have access anyway. Aluminum truck tanks are a perfect example. Way overkill and a waste of filler metal and argon if inside and outside are both welded. How do weld the inside of the top???

Large access port and child labor. Teach yer kids to weld. They can get into smaller places.

Re: Fuel tank build. 2 gallons
Good practice to weld the inside and the top is the least likely to leak. It was pretty good welding it up

Re: Fuel tank build. 2 gallons
Nothing should leak if it's properly welded.

Inside corners are tricky - looks like good practice for it.

I was thinking if the nun with the most seniority was the Mother Superior, someone looking for a less experienced nun might be looking for the Mother Inferior.

That's a cool little project Moto! Kudo's to you for the innovative handles too.
Personally, as I aged arthritis in my hands would make it easier to carry it with a round bar handle on top, versus having to keep squeezing with my fingers into the internal handles.
But your way looks much cooler!

I was thinking the same - my hands are too far gone for that handle. Cool though
