Re: Does any refurb motherboards?
I repair boards and the 30XP is one I've dealt with. If the switching regulator blew it's likely because there is another component or components that are shorted.

Yep. That's more or less what I told them.
They decided they were too good for the forum and deleted their account, though.

It was the OP who acted like an impatient, self-centered jerk and was banned. Take another careful look at the whole thread to understand all the subjects and aspects being discussed.

Re: Does any refurb motherboards?
I am other sites where they have big problem with companies try sell goods and services.
A member can give links and sell things even services. But had on group for a few years and just try help not make living from the group.
The site say online with the ads they sell. If did not the members would have pay.

Re: Does any refurb motherboards?
Assessing a cost to repair a board isn't straightforward, I don't flat rate. Sometimes people send me boards that are burned up and other times I receive boards that aren't burned up, as you can imagine to ones that are burned/missing traces will require a little more time and effort which increases the price. Also, some of the components can be proprietary and are not possible to get replacements for. If you can send me a picture of your board I can provide an estimate. As for reprogramming, when I have access to the firmware I do program some of them if it is needed.
