    Hello New Forum User Here

Pretty much new to all Forums and if I am doing something wrong or that is not good forum etiquette please let me know!!

Hi All. I am new to this forum. I started out welding for the use in furniture building. First thing I ever made was a stainless chair frame out of 5/8 round solid stock and I Tig welded it. Made a terrible mess out of it and spent days filing and grinding and eventually polishing the frame. Turned out great but what I nightmare. Learned quickly the value of clean welds without extra material.

Worked later building stage sets a did a lot of square tube welding for large frames to hold signage or other display type items. All MiG welded.

Since then I just do it as a hobby mostly but also owned a farm for 5 years and did a fair bit of maintenance welding on equipment and around the greenhouse.

Got an old Miller 115 MiG (got it new about 20 years ago), A Pro Tig 205 from Harbor Freight (seems to work fairly well actually pretty impressed for how much I paid for it). Got a couple plasma cutters, A Miller Delta Weld 650 (bought at auction and will be selling) and another multi use machine by Thermal Arc called Arcmaster. (also bought at auction and will sell).

Anyway glad to be here hope to learn some new stuff and sell some of my equipment and buy a mid sized Mig.
