My retirement date is February 28, 2023. For a total of 20 years and 10 days. Retirement is already approved. No follow on assignment. In other words, I'm going back with 94 days of terminal leave. March 1st 2023 is going to be my first day of FREEEEDDDDOOOOMMMMMM! (BRAVEHEART VOICE)

I just realized I should specify ranch hand Fence work type gloves not sword fighting fencing gloves.

    https://www.amazon.com/Water-Resista.../dp/B00XRKJ6PA

I use to be able to get similar to these for about $8.00 or less. Prices are up on everything now.

Here’s a cheap pair for $9.00. I have not tried these but the price is right.

I should mention that in my opinion Magswitch products are excellent in quality but seriously overpriced

there doesn't seem to be any middle ground for magnetic welding accessories. either expensive quality or cheap stuff of debatable usefulness

this has been my experience anyway.

    Re: New to welding!

I reaql mentor may help. There is a lot of info out there that didnt used to be but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, its prolly not bad here but I am not real fond of the word research anymore. There is such an overload and so many opinions that for new guy ends up more confused than when he started. Invest in basics first and you dont need every tool they ever invented. Keep some cash in pocket and buy something when you need it and cause you use something once doesnt mean you will use it like a madman forever. ind economy to start withj and work up, the problem with buying once is if you dont like it stuck and if a guy has to toss a 30$ grinder after a couple 3 years better than stuck with a 300 one you really dont like and end up using.
My bud bought 211 and a Dynasty,,, says if he was goinmg to do it again could skip the dyn, retired, same deal, uses the 211 quite a little. Used the dyn to try it out and practice for work he c ould have done spooly with mig.

I was not a 120V fan but today having a heavy machine would get spare bottle on a 140 and 023m the world is so much light sheet and can do near foil with it. We weld a job the other day we thought might be a problem, 5/16 maybe brake line tubing. Bout 50 pieces, wasnt a problem.
