I am not sure. You could try to order a new potentiometer from Miller, unsolder the old one from the board and solder a new one in. I would call Miller first and see if there is an easier fix.

The push-pull gun is worth almost that alone. I bought a pile of three XR AlumaPro guns at an auction a while back...just wanted one for my 350P. I sold the 15ft gun for $1,250 on eBay and the 25ft gun for $1,500 and they both sold within a day or two. They were very nice, but not new.

I don't know that you can easily replace just the one knob since the circuit card for both knobs is one piece, but it's possible. Any way you look at it, you stole that combo!

Good to know. I was thinking of drilling the plastic shaft and connect the two broken pieces with a thin screw temporarily until I figure out what to do. Maybe replace the encoder or the whole circuit board later.

I would try to glue it to be honest. Its not a high torque application. Those knobs turn pretty freely. I bet some epoxy and a little shaping to size would work fine. I would also still call Miller first. They might have a great idea. The interface board is around $700 if you go that route. I have to think that any decent electronics repair house could fix that pretty inexpensively. Its not like you are replacing a semiconductor device.

Previous owner tired glowing it before, so it's kinda messed up right now. Maybe the epoxy is worth the try.

Miller gave me the encoder number, they said I may find it at mouser.
