Millermatic 350P
There's a Millermatic 350P for sell near me for $1900. The guy won't budge from the asking price. Is that a good deal at that price? Is the 350P a good machine?

Millermatic 350P
the price is a little high for Canada
you would prob know better for your area
the problem with my 350P was the operator. i didn't use it enough on a daily basis to be able to consistently dial in the right settings.
i found the settings finicky every time i changed material thicknesses but that was probably just me.
i only used it for aluminum and never tried it on steel.

Re: Millermatic 350P
There's two models of the 350P, one that is general purpose and one set up just for aluminum. I am not sure that matters for the pricing, but it matters for what you want to use it for. The 350P is an excellent machine. They have replaced it with the 355P in the last few months, so not sure how much longer the 350P will remain in production. I think $1900 is a great price for that machine if it is in good working order. P stands for pulse, which means it does pulsed spray MIG as well as short circuit and axial spray MIG, and of course various flavors of flux core and metal core wires. Top end is 400 amps and it has a 300 amp/60% duty cycle. They are beasts. Many folks would consider $1900 for a MM 252 to be a good bargain. I think getting its big brother for that price is really a good bargain.

Thanks for your input Louie. I have no idea which one it is, but if I have to guess I think it's the one setup for steel. The guy said that the machine is hardly used and that is the reason why he's not coming down on the price.

I bought a used Millermatic 252 for $1500 USD about 4 years ago, and that was considered a steal at that time. That push pull gun is worth at least $1000 USD on its own. You REALLY got a steal!

Re: Millermatic 350P
To be honest, if I was in the market, and the machine works as advertised, I wouldn't even try to negotiate. I would jump on the $1900 before someone else does.

Re: Millermatic 350P
Is the 350P an inverter or transformer based machine? Miller's tech support guy said it's a transformer because it has transformer..lol

Re: Millermatic 350P
1900 for a 350P is cheap. I have 3 350s. 2 aluminum and 1 regular. They were like 8,5 for the regular and 9,5 for the alum with push pull.
Worth every penny for all 3 machines

The link I posted? Back off, I just emailed the guy LOL
I did email the guy, but if any of y'all are interested, let me know and I'll back off. If I DO get it, I'm going to have to run wire for 136A of 240V to power it (sounds expensive)
