Mig tip question

I picked up a couple welding machines at auction one is an old hobart handler that originally came with piecemaker mig gun for which there are no parts. Parts of the gun were missing so I did a retrofit of of a European style mig gun. (yeswelder gun) the other welder is a lincoln sp100 that was missing the liner. I used the tips that came with the yeswelder gun for both the hobart and lincoln machines. I ended up with burn back and bird nesting with both machines. I had some miller tips for my millermatic 210 , I ran a metric threading die over them to so I could use them in the lincoln and yes welder guns, both machines seem to be running fine for now. I am thinking that the yes welder tip are probably drawn and not drilled? . I was reading about drilled vs drawn tips as well as silver plated tips. I have not found a source for Lincoln style silver plated tips, I don't see anything in any description of welding tips as to if they are drawn or drilled. anyway I am looking for some quality tips in the .024 and .030 sizes fit the lincoln/tweco/yeswelder guns. I wouldn't mind trying some silver plated tips if I could find them.
