    Cutting table

First I want to say thanks for your guys input on a cutting table. I threw this together today to cut some 1/4"x10" hot roll.
We moved to a new shop recently with polished concrete floors, and I wanted a table to catch my parts with out falling to the floor. So I came up with this after looking at some designs here.

I have a square guide that the bar slides under and then I can run my torch training wheels along in with a nice even pull. (The action shot for Zap.)

    And the finish cut.

The metal trash can catches all the slag.
    Thanks again

    Nice table and nice cut.

I need to get out my O/A cutting torch a lttle more often and practice. I suck at it.

I must admit I cheat that cutting guide makes it way easy...and it is not a very good one. OA cutting is all about a clean tip and a smooth pull.

    Thanks again

Looks great and nice cutting with the O/A. I admit too, I need more practice with my O/A. I really like that cutting guide, very cool idea.

    This may take awhile...

Very neat. No trash build up on the table. Great for repeatable cuts.

It is a Harris 4 In One torch jig...It is ok. 4 In one means it does 4 things ok...but nothing real well. Here is a pic of the one I just ordered.

The Harris one comes loose sometimes and the wheels that come with it are lame...I intend to upgrade it once my new one gets here.

nice table and cutting Jonnie Fraz is the guide your using one that can be used with wheels and also so for cutting circles I have one much the same it looks like you have the wheels out of it and using it as a guide with your straight edge would that be right forget that I didn't read all post's after i quoted zap just double checked and saw your post about the jigga

Yep that is it! Yes you are right about the torch jig...I took the wheels out and was using the guide as a slider. The wheels are abysmal on mine, brand new they sucked and got worse, I can be smoother without them. I was thinking of using pipe cutter wheels for an upgrade.
    Ron,
My torch is a Victor the guide is Harris, and that may be my problem with it.
The guide works ok, but you must make shure it does not come loose and booger up your cut. I hate it when that happens
Thanks for the kind words guys.
