I was told it's his back-up unit but he chopped it to be able to see out the back window so I don't know that it won't wind up on his rig. ??

For everyone's benefit, 60redfacer pointed out that by cutting off the hand crank support from the bottom of the radiator mount, one can service the front crank seal without pulling the radiator and jacking the engine up. It's that hand crank support that's in the way.

Good tip and as he pointed out - no one uses those things anyhow.

I added my tip to the sticky, for those who would be interested in reading. In there I added the part numbers for seal and speedy sleeve, also a cheap place to order some engine parts

#8 polished SS and a local fab shop I deal with did the work except for the lifting eye and exhaust openings and hold-down bolt holes which I took care of.

I'll shoot you (and anyone else that cares to know) a PM on the $$.

Brake dies still left verfy fine marks thru both layers of the protective film on the #8 polished 16ga SS for the 180 degree side seam but not that noticeable after a wipe down. Photo makes them look worse than they are.

I think I was MIA when you posted this originally Duane. It was just a bit after my now ex wife and I had separated. I wasn't on for several months during that time.

Great job as always and VS. 2.0 will undoubtedly be even better!
