I'm curious,

When a vendor shows a demonstration video that contains people not using the proper PPE (i.e. not wearing gloves while welding) does this mean that the vendor promotes unsafe practices while welding?

P.S. alot but not all armchair weldors talk like they know something but they never ever have useful information to share. Has anybody else noticed? In my guestimate, only two or three out of ten Yankees have anything useful to share. The rest tell you GOOOGLE it. If I ever need to know something about TIG, Im gonna use the web. Most useful information comes from Texas and the West coast and once in a while, a Yankee. The wars over boys, England is now an ally and the Aussies are friends. now show me something you welded instead of knocking people and their tools. The only thing I know about EVERLAST is that they are Green and they provide what seems to me like good support till the naysayers run them of.

We have more videos on the LONGEVITY Welding channel. I believe safety along with gases, tungstens, pilot arc, etc... all covered check it out. If you wish to request something, we can try to make it work.

Thank you and thanks to those who enjoy the videos we put out and support them!

You should stop drinking.

Yeah Larry0 Im trying, It seems as though this has become more of a sewing circle than a place to ask questions so Im trying not asking anymore. I will google as recommended by the armchair weldors. As far as the Yankees go; Ive found hella good information from DSW, Lamename, WelderMike and ZAP and most of it without even asking. Thanks a million. Theres probably a few others that I forgot to mention. Then theres a few that have so much Aluminum in there lungs, brain and heart that makes them ohnery . I could go on but Im thirsty now.

Heliarc was invented in California as far as I know and it appears those boys have the skills to weld Aluminum without High Freq. It must be the difference in atmosphere.

BTW I liked you chipping hammers made from old files. It looked like you even used the tang to make a small chipper. Thats what I wanna see. Arent files hard to cut? Never mind.

I still don't understand how pulse take heat out of the metal.

If you are high pulsing, you are agitating the puddle and flaring the arc a bit. But you can do the same flaring with different tungsten grind profiles.

So that still begs the question. How does pulse take heat out of the metal?
